GUILFORD, Connecticut, USA - The Wire Association International, Inc.'s Wire Expo Wrap-Up

The Wire Association International (WAI), Inc., with the support of its Ohio Valley Chapter and more than 100 volunteers, hosted an activity-rich event that included exhibits, technical and social programs as part of
Wire Expo 2008 and its 78th Annual Convention that concluded last week at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA.
Participation figures totaled 1957 and exhibition space was filled by 308 exhibiting companies. The event attracted participants from 38 states offering drive-in traffic from the industry workers in the surrounding regions of Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, Indiana, and Michigan. Representatives from 31 countries outside of the U.S. helped to heighten the lure of the venue giving local professionals an opportunity to interact with international vendors and visitors.

| The Wire Association International (WAI) will host Wire Expo 2008 and its 78th Annual Convention in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, from June 7-11, 2008. The schedule will begin with an educational program on Saturday, June 7, continuing on June 8. Exhibits will run from June 9-11, 2008. Recognized for its iron-clad steel making history, its landmark hills and sequence of 944 area bridges, Pittsburgh evoked the best from industrialists and innovators from Andrew Carnegie to George Westinghouse. Today the city is infused with a new energy, inspiring achievements like the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, the world’s first ‘green’ building of its kind where WAI will host Wire Expo, June 7-11, 2008. The building itself is an exquisite example of wire and cable at work. Luxembourg and Moscow - Wire Expo 06 on the upswing after successful outing in Boston

The Wire Association International (WAI), Inc., with the support
of its New England Chapter and more than 100 volunteers, assembled
an activity-rich event that included exhibits, technical and
social programs as part of Wire Expo 2006 and its 76 th Annual
Convention that concluded yesterday at the Hynes Convention
Center, Boston, Massachusetts, USA. Participation figures
were tallied at 2407, a slight increase over the Wire Expo
2004 show in Cleveland, and exhibition space was sold out.

Boston Massachusetts - Wireexpo 2006 opens

Wire and cable industry leaders has come together this week
to discuss the latest topics, trends and technology. Nearly
300 companies are on hand
to display the industry's newest and best products and service
offerings, while an equally impressive technical program features
eight theme sessions and 40 technical paper presentations, a
two-day course on Fundamentals of Wiredrawing, a Roadshow Workshop
on Practical Extrusion, and several floor side sessions.

The
Wire Association International (WAI), Inc. and its New England
chapter will
host Wire Expo 2006 at the Hynes Convention Center, Boston, Massachusetts,
USA, from May 20-24, 2006.
Exhibits, a complete technical program, floor-side briefing forums,
networking prospects, educational exchanges, and social festivities
are
elements of the most anticipated wire and cable event in the
USA in 2006.
To date 250 exhibiting companies are signed and situated on the
proposed floor plan, with additional stands being sold daily
toward an
expected 280-company roster. Participating organizations represent
the ferrous, nonferrous, electrical, fiber optic and fastener
disciplines of
the industry.
