The
mobile measuring and coiling systems are ideally
suited for coiling (or spooling) material from
source reels mounted on a reel rack, roller platform
or payout cart. Systems provided with 2" measurer,
drive system and collapsible coiling head. The
frame is mounted on wheels, casters and floor locks
for mobility within the facility. Standard coiling
head dimensions are 5"W x 20"ID x 30"OD.
Special size coiling heads are available, plus
the coiling head can be removed and plug in shafts
can be installed for small reels. Variable speed
drive systems (up to 2HP) with safety footswitch
or manually operated units are available. The model
HMP/PO includes hydraulically raised reel payout
system making the unit a completely self-contained
reel to coil system. Options include plug in shafts,
digital stop-to-length meters, cutters and traverse
systems.

DUAL
HEAD SPOOLER/COILER
The
DHSC is a complete dual head spooler/coiler designed
for continuous production. When one spool is
running the operator can be unloading the full
spool and loading an empty spool to make ready
for the change over. These units are constructed
of structural steel with a sheet metal skin.
They are complete with an entrance wire guide
sheave, 1" capacity measurer with an out-of-material
switch, an automatic traversing system, two
independently driven takeup plug in shafts, drive
shaft selection switch and a dual level slow
down and stop to length programmable measuring
system.

SPEED SPOOLER/COILER SYSTEM
These
units are offered in a variety of capacities
for spooling or coiling wire, cable and other
flexible materials. Generally designed for spools
or coils light enough to be manually lifted from
the cantilevered shaft, this unit offers speed
and reliability. The drives are electric offered
in a wide range of horsepower and configurations
to suit your needs. The units are also offered
with automatic material traversing systems and
electronically integrated measuring systems.
