Pawcatuck Connecticut September 30th Davis-Standard granted patent for new temperature control and introduces new Mesa III process control system

In a press release Davis-Standard said it had been granted a patent for a newly developed technology that improves upon an existing adaptive reset algorithm to provide temperature control precision of +/- 0.1 degree Fahrenheit regardless of processing conditions. The new patent, entitled “Extruder Temperature Controller with Stable Temperature Reset,” was issued in July of this year. Saul Eiva, Davis-Standard’s software development engineer who designed the new algorithm, said it is more accurate than previously patented technology. For full details use this link. Davis-Standard’s also said it is introducing a new MESA III process control system, that combines full process control with affordability. Engineered for controlling smaller lines with one or two extruders, this mid-level system offers the features and flexibility of advanced systems such as Davis-Standard’s EPIC III™ in a value-added, compact package. Processors can take advantage of features such as trending and recipe storage without incurring costs for additional functions not required for their processes. For full details use this link
