Plasmait is the leading edge manufacturer of Plasma heat and surface treatment machinery to the wire, strip and tube industry. The company’s head office is located in Lebring, Austria, where it also operates a plasma treatment trial facility. Plasmait provides heat and surface treatment solutions as individual machines or as a turn-key production line deployment.

Plasmait heat and surface treatment solutions are designed for applications (preferably in-line) with demanding mechanical and surface requirements. Plasma treatment is conducted in controlled atmosphere to ensure distinct surface cleanliness and un-compromised surface quality.

Heat Treatment & Annealing Systems

• PlasmaANNEALER – High-speed annealing of ferrous and non-ferrous wire, rod and strip.
• PlasmaGRAPH – Graphite de-lubrication and annealing for hot drawn materials. (Molybdenum, Tantalum, Tungsten, hot drawn steels).

Surface Treatment Systems

• PlasmaDEGREASER – Removal of oil/grease lubricants from wire surface for applications such as welding wire, medical wire, plating (ferrous / non-ferrous).
