Adaption to production and the environment

Surface treatment plants for wire and strip are normally just a link in a longer production chain. To achieve the best possible overall results, the various sub-systems must be perfectly integrated in terms of production methods and output rates.

At Outokumpu WTT, we design customized plants for degreasing, pickling, chemical plating, electroplating, and the treatment of waste water. Depending on the production system, we offer both single-wire and multi-wire systems for the various surface treatment processes.

Carefully selected materials are used for our plants to withstand aggressive chemicals and to assure high reliability for the customer.

The entire production line is clearly arranged, and the wire tracks are easily accessible for convenient service. Generous ventilation systems ensure a good working environment.

We have installed more than 150 plants around the world, and we have accumulated extensive know-how of the problems and needs facing wire and strip manufacturers. Starting at the project design stage, we provide our competence in the field of surface treatment. In close cooperation with the customer, we then recommend the processes and technical design that will meet the production requirements and provide the best possible cost effectiveness.
