| 2003-08-20 Press Release Lämneå Bruk AB of Ljusfallshammar, Sweden, is proud to announce that we have acquired Hi-Draw Machinery Limited of Romsey, Hampshire, England and its subsidiaries Hi-Draw Engineering Limited, Process and Technology Limited, Hi-Draw International Limited, CM Wire Equipment Limited, NFE Non Ferrous Engineering Limited, Deco-Rollex Limited and Protec Limited. The Hi-Draw group companies are also manufacturers of equipment for the wire and cable industry. This acquisition
will enable Lämneå Bruk AB and Hi-Draw group companies to combine
their know-how and technologies strengthening the capabilities of the companies
and ensuring their position as leading suppliers to the wire industry. This
will benefit the customers of Hi-Draw group companies as well as the customers
of Lämneå Bruk AB. Hi-Draw group will continue to supply Hi-Draw
equipment and Hi- Draw spare parts to their customers. This includes service
and technical assistance on all Hi-Draw equipment. |
