INTRODUCTION

The International Wire & Cable Symposium is pleased to announce the availability of three scholarships (two Godwin and one Eoll Award) for interested high school and college students planning to major in the science or engineering discipline as it relates to the wire and cable industry.
 
NOTE: These scholarships are available to students within the United States as well as to international high school and college students.

SCHOLARSHIPS OFFERED

Elmer F. "Ace" Godwin Scholarships:
These scholarships were created to honor the long-serving Director of the IWCS and carry his namesake.

Christopher Kenneth Eoll Memorial Scholarship:
This scholarship was created in honor of an active participant of the IWCS and a Siecor employee and carries his namesake.

Two Godwin scholarships, each valued at $2,000.00 (up from $1,000.00 in previous years), will be awarded. One will go to a graduating high school senior and a second to a current college student. The college student scholarship is a one time award while the undergraduate award can be renewed annually, for a maximum of 4 years ($8,000.00), based on academic standing and degree progress.

In addition, an Eoll scholarship, valued at approximately $1,000.00, will be awarded to either a qualified high school senior or a college student.

All candidates must be pursuing a degree in a science or engineering field related to the wire and cable industry.
