on business from customers in Hamilton and Montreal and occasional
export orders from customers in Cleveland and Pittsburgh, Svensson
said.
At a luncheon following the meeting
Mr. Willy Hauer described a new plasma cleaning process for steel
rod that was being developed and entertained the members reminiscing
about installing equipment in The Gabon, Zambia and Angola.
Louis Kalmar spoke about the current
business climate in the middle east and a project in Iran his company
was working on and Paul Douwes just back from Mumbai India talked
about his impression of the Wire India 2006 exhibition.
Few industries are more
multinational than the CWCISA member companies, "I venture
to suggest that there are few countries our members do not do business
in", the Executive Director of the association told reporters.
