Canterbury Engineering makes fixes, adjustable, single or multi-layer, stripe, fiber optic, and custom Heads for plastics such as PVC, PE, PP, Rubber, Kynar, Nylon, Teflon, etc.
All CEC Heads can be adapted to any Extruder or your present tooling. Tell us the make, model and the present X-head center line of your Extruder and we will design the flange to adapt to the CEC head.
The CEC operator-friendly fixed center heads provide quick set up changes resulting in low bleed out and reduced wire scrap.
To withstand industrial use, extruder heads are made of Alloy Steels and case hardened to give maximum wear resistance and endurance. Special steels like Hastelloy(R) and various grades of stainless steel are used on Heads required for extruding corrosive or abrasive materials.
All heads can be supplied with Mica-Band, cast aluminum, or cast Bronze heaters.
CEC maintains stock on all common size heads and tooling for quick delivery.
