| Stranded Conductors made of Copper or Aluminium |
STRECKER-buttwelders cover a range starting at 0,08 up to 1.200 mm² for stranded copper conductors or from 1,5 up to 1.200 mm² for stranded aluminium conductors.
Buttwelding machines for the lower welding range are manually operated, the weld is made by means of glass or ceramic tubes.
For bigger size stranded conductors there are manually operated buttwelders as well as pneumatically operated machines available. The welded joint is being made by means of ceramic or also graphite tubes.
Special attention should be given to hydraulically operated dual upset buttwelders with automatic deburring cycle which allow a welding process without any tubes.
